Entertaining The Tudors

Imagine you are a musician in the court of Henry VIII and you have got to provide entertainment for a very special occasion - What music would you play? What instruments would you use? How would you dress? What other entertainment could you provide?

Tudor Duo

Entertaining The Tudors with Minstrels Gallery provides the answers to these and many other questions.

Our workshops explore Tudor life through music, song and dance, giving pupils the chance to actually experience music and entertainment from this colourful period in history.

Our Instruments

With over 30 authentic period instruments to hear and play pupils get a hands on experience whilst working towards actual performances of music, dance and a play.
Pupil On Cornett

Aimed primarily at Key Stage 2, these Tudor workshops work very well with both younger and older pupils. For a more detailed description of a day's workshop click here.

So please talk to us for more ideas on how to integrate a visit from Minstrels Gallery with your terms scheme of work.
